# Is Honkai: Nexus Anima on PS5, Switch or Mac? Platforms > Honkai: Nexus Anima is confirmed for PC, iOS and Android only. You also cannot download the game yet: there is no store page on any platform, and the only playable builds were closed tests that have ended. That is the short answer. The rest of this page explains where each of those claims comes from, what HoYoverse’s other games suggest about a later console release, and which rumours to ignore. Launch cross-save is likely but not confirmed. ## Every confirmed Honkai: Nexus Anima platform The platform list has grown across the game’s three tests. The first closed beta, the Nexus Bond Test in September 2025, was **PC and iOS only**, with no Android build. The Aspect Exploration Project in April 2026 recruited on **PC, Android and iOS**, and the Evolution Test in July 2026 ran on all three as well. So Android is not a late addition to worry about. The official PC recommendation is an Intel Core i5-11400F or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, an RTX 2060 or RX 5600 XT, **12 GB of RAM**, Windows 10 64-bit or newer, and **35 GB of storage**. Note that the card is a single tier titled “Device Recommendations”. There is no separate minimum and recommended split, so a machine slightly below it may still run the game, but HoYoverse has not said how far below. ### Is Honkai: Nexus Anima on Steam or Epic? Not yet. There is **no Steam page and no Epic Games Store page** as of our check. That means no wishlist button, no store release date and no pre-download. HoYoverse has not said which PC storefronts the game will use at launch, so we would not read anything into the missing Steam page this early. For a game with no release date, the absence of a store listing is normal, and a listing appearing would be one of the stronger signals that launch is close. ## iOS and Android: phones, tablets and storage The mobile builds need far less storage than PC, at **15 GB** on both iOS and Android, but the chip requirements are high. On iOS, the card lists the iPhone 12 Pro series, 13 Pro series, the whole 14 series and all later models, on iOS 15.0 or newer with 6 GB of RAM. For iPad, it lists models with **an M1 chip or newer** (iPad Pro 5th gen, iPad Air 5th gen and later) plus the iPad mini 7\. You can check your model under Settings, General, About. On Android, the card names the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, Kirin 9020, Dimensity 9000+, Samsung Exynos 2400 and Google Tensor G4, or equivalent or better, on Android 6.0 or newer with 6 GB of RAM or more. ### Is it on the App Store or Google Play? No. There are **no App Store or Google Play listings** yet, so you cannot pre-order or pre-register through either store. Pre-registration currently runs only on the official site, [hna.hoyoverse.com](https://hna.hoyoverse.com/), with a HoYoverse account. Our [pre-registration guide](/guides/pre-registration/) walks through it. ## Is Honkai: Nexus Anima coming to PS5? **HoYoverse has not said.** There is no announced PS5 version, no PlayStation Store page, and no console statement from any official channel. gamescom 2026 in August had a hands-on demo but no console news, and the game was absent from HoYoverse’s Tokyo Game Show 2026 coverage in September. That is not the same as a “no”. Nexus Anima has had three tests, a gamescom demo and a published device card, and none of them mentioned a console. Our reading, and it is only that, is that a **day-one PS5 launch looks less likely** than a Star Rail style arrival some months after the PC and mobile release. The Star Rail pattern is the one where the console version was not part of the early marketing, which matches what we see here. It is equally possible that Nexus Anima stays on PC and mobile. Here is the detail behind each one. ### Is Honkai: Nexus Anima on Switch? No Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 version has been announced. None of HoYoverse’s precedent in our table above includes a Switch launch, so there is no pattern to point to here either. Treat any Switch listing or trailer you see as fake until it appears on the official site or @HonkaiNA. ### Is it on Xbox? No Xbox version has been announced. Like the other consoles, it simply has not come up in any official material. ### Is Honkai: Nexus Anima on Mac? **No macOS client has been announced**, and none of the three tests offered one. This is where a common misunderstanding creeps in. The Evolution Test supported **iPads with an M1 chip or newer**. Because Apple uses M-series chips in both iPads and Macs, some people read that as Mac support. It is not. The iPad entry covers the iOS build running on iPad hardware, and HoYoverse has not said anything about a native Mac version or about letting the iOS build run on Apple Silicon Macs. If you are on a Mac, there is currently no official way to play. ## Cross-save, cross-play and controller support **Cross-save:** during the Evolution Test, progress synced across PC, iOS and Android on one HoYoverse account. Every live HoYoverse game does this across PC and mobile, so we expect it at launch. HoYoverse has not confirmed it for the release version yet. Keep in mind that the Evolution Test ended with a **full wipe**. Nothing you did in any beta carries over to launch, on any platform. **Cross-play:** Nexus Anima is entirely player versus environment, with no PvP mode, as we cover in [Is Nexus Anima PvP or PvE](/guides/is-honkai-nexus-anima-pvp-or-pve/). Any cross-platform multiplayer features at launch have not been detailed, so we are not going to guess at them. **Controller support:** unconfirmed. HoYoverse has not published controller support for Nexus Anima on PC or mobile. Combat is an auto battler where you set a formation before the fight, so the game leans less on real-time input than an action game would, but that says nothing about whether controllers will be supported. ## Can you download Honkai: Nexus Anima yet? **No.** There is no public build on any platform. HoYoverse only sends test access from its own official addresses. HoYoverse has not yet published launch pricing, so we are not stating it as fact. What we do know is that the **Evolution Test had no payments** at all. Beta builds did show a premium gacha currency, Aspect Gems, which points to the usual free to play model with optional purchases. Test invites came from separate recruitment surveys. ## Emulators: why BlueStacks and MuMu pages are no help Pages from Android emulator makers, such as BlueStacks and MuMu, rank for “Honkai: Nexus Anima PC” and offer to let you “play on PC”. Two problems make those pages pointless right now. First, there is **nothing to emulate**. There is no public Android build, so an emulator has no game to run. Second, **PC is a native platform**. When the game launches, Windows players will get a proper PC client with the PC specs listed above. Running the Android version through an emulator would mean worse performance for no benefit. Until then, the confirmed list stays at PC, iOS and Android.
