NEXUS ANIMA

Eidos

Every playable Eidos in Honkai: Nexus Anima by Aspect and rarity, with energy cost, initial energy, regen, and how fast each skill comes online.

Last updated 2026-08-22

Eidos are the playable characters of Honkai: Nexus Anima. You explore Iia with them, and in battle each one casts from its own energy pool. Every Eidos carries exactly one Aspect, which is the axis team synergy runs on, and a bonded Anima companion that gains extra effects when the two are fielded together.

Investment splits into two tracks that are easy to confuse. Eidognosis is a node board every player unlocks steadily over time, and it is what the raised numbers in the table below assume. Eidothreads are the scarce track: one unlocks per duplicate copy, E1 through E6, so that is where real spending decisions live. You can also field several Eidos of the same Aspect to push that Aspect's bonus higher.

Eidos are what this site called Animasters until August 2026. The game client says Eidos, so the site now does too.

Every Eidos by Aspect

Listed in the pairs the game itself uses, each Aspect beside its opposite. Read it as pairs and the gaps become the interesting part: Oblivion, Love, Ugliness, Pride, Insatiability and Change have no Eidos at all yet, so those Aspects can only be built from Anima for now.

How fast each Eidos gets its first skill off

Energy cost is what the skill fires at; initial energy is what an Eidos starts a fight holding. The gap between them divided by the regen rate is how long you wait, and it is the number worth sorting on, because a cheap skill on a slow starter still lands late. Sorted fastest first.

Initial energy and regen are the raised values: Eidos level 30, with Eidognosis 1 and 3 taken. Timings assume natural energy gain with nothing else feeding the pool, so anything in your formation that grants energy pulls them in.

What the numbers say

The roster is 13 Eidos spread across 10 of the 16 Aspects that have published synergy thresholds, split 7 four-star to 6 five-star. Only Reality, Strength and Memory have two Eidos each, which makes them the only Aspects you can currently push with more than one character.

Activation timing is where the roster is least uniform. Maple Manybell opens at 5.0s and Kiana needs 12.1s, so the slowest opener waits 2.4 times as long as the fastest. The averages sit at 238 energy cost, 116 initial energy and 14.0 regen per second, for a mean of 8.7s to the first cast. Regen is flat at 14.0 for every Eidos once Eidognosis is raised, so the only levers on that wait are the cost and the starting pool.

Read that alongside cost rather than on its own. Maple Manybell opens first on the cheapest skill on the roster, at 200, while Kiana starts from the smallest pool at 70, which is what puts it last rather than its cost.

Not in the current build

These 11 characters are documented but cannot be fielded today. Keeping them on the page is the point: they are the clearest signal of who the roster grows into.

Playable in CBT1, cut from the Evolution Test

Fieldable in the CBT1 Nexus Bond Test and absent from the current build. One of them is a story spoiler, so it sits behind a disclosure.

Story only, never playable

Seen in cutscenes and story so far, and in neither beta's roster. We hold less on these than on anyone above, so their profiles stay deliberately thin rather than guessing at a kit.

How to use this page

Pick the Aspect you can actually field two of, then read the timing column to check the pieces come online together. A slow opener is fine next to a fast one and awkward next to another slow one. Cross-check the creature side in the Anima dex, read what each Aspect actually pays out on the Aspect synergy page, pick the right Disposition on each Anima you field, see how the characters rank on the tier list, and draft the lineup in the formation planner before you spend anything. For where pulls should go first, the gacha guide covers the Eidos Standard Bond, and the character guide has the longer profiles.
