Catnapir

Catnapir dozes through most of the day, but its Memory Aspect and Protector Trait mean it still pulls its weight, soaking hits between naps.

Where to find Catnapir

From the in-game clue hints and what townspeople say about where they met theirs. Theexploration guide covers the map itself.

Catnapir Anidex entry

Due to its tendency to bury itself under the covers, Catnapir is often assumed to be a slothful creature, which is far from its actual, ruthlessly self-disciplined nature. Obsessed with planning, its nightly routine involves meticulous scheduling of the next day, down to the second with fierce precision. Despite the effort, Catnapir rarely wakes up on time. It then spirals into feelings of deep guilt and futility, hides itself under the covers out of shame, and loses all motivation to carry out the remaining tasks for the day... Anima aren't all that different from humans, and sometimes, the morning alarm simply doesn't ring... or maybe it was never heard at all?

Dispositions

Catnapir carries these four. Exactly one runs at a time, so this is the one thing about it you choose rather than roll for. What the rest of the roster carries is on the Dispositions reference.

Rapport ranks

Duplicate copies of Catnapir raise its Rapport rank, and each rank changes its signature skill. The ladder is not evenly weighted: ranks 1 and 4 scale numbers that are already there, ranks 3 and 5 are a flat stat bump and nothing else, and ranks 2 and 6 are where the skill actually gains something new. Those two are the ones worth pulling for.

Nightmare RippleTauntShield

Active: Catnapir casts a mental spell to all enemy Anima within 2 hexes. If Catnapir is within their attack range, changes their attack target to Catnapir and grants itself 95% (DEF + MDEF) Shield for 6s.
