Explorer role: The deepest role on the roster. Aspect bonuses treat it as offensive in some cases (Attack SPD under Strength) and durable in others (Max Health under Insatiability), so its scaling depends on the Aspect you build around.

Energy: Has Omnileech, which is what lets it trade damage and survivability instead of choosing one.

Where to find Magisdrake

From the in-game clue hints and what townspeople say about where they met theirs. Theexploration guide covers the map itself.

Magisdrake Anidex entry

Magisdrake gives great importance to its appearance. It can often be found lingering by the lake, gazing into its reflection: curls plump and fluffy, full and even, with a touch of vintage flair; tie at the perfect length, centered just right, sparing it the hassle of adjustment, definitely no small feat for a duck with short limbs and a round belly... A final check confirms that the tuft of hair atop its head stands firm with intact dignity. Only then does Magisdrake lift its gavel for judgment. After all, a judge must be as steadfast in appearance as in justice.

Dispositions

Magisdrake carries these four. Exactly one runs at a time, so this is the one thing about it you choose rather than roll for. What the rest of the roster carries is on the Dispositions reference.

Rapport ranks

Duplicate copies of Magisdrake raise its Rapport rank, and each rank changes its signature skill. The ladder is not evenly weighted: ranks 1 and 4 scale numbers that are already there, ranks 3 and 5 are a flat stat bump and nothing else, and ranks 2 and 6 are where the skill actually gains something new. Those two are the ones worth pulling for.
