Honkai: Nexus Anima System Requirements: PC and Mobile

PC needs an i5-11400F or Ryzen 5 3600X, RTX 2060 or RX 5600 XT, 12 GB RAM and 35 GB free. Full Android, iPhone and iPad specs from the official card.

By Nexus Anima HubSystem RequirementsPCMobile

Honkai: Nexus Anima needs an Intel Core i5-11400F or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT, 12 GB of RAM, Windows 10 64-bit and 35 GB of storage on PC. On mobile it needs a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 class chip with 6 GB of RAM on Android, or an iPhone 12 Pro, any iPhone 14 or newer, or an M1 iPad, plus 15 GB of storage either way.

Those figures come from HoYoverse’s official “Device Recommendations” card for the Evolution Test, the second closed beta, which ran from July 9 to July 27, 2026 (UTC+8). No launch specs exist yet, because the game has no release date. The beta card is still the best evidence anyone has, and this page goes through every line of it.

Closed beta caveat. Every spec here comes from a test build. Honkai: Nexus Anima has no announced release date on any platform, and HoYoverse has not published launch requirements. Where we give our own guidance (comparable GPUs, storage headroom), we say so. Facts checked 2026-09-27.

Quick answer: requirements for every platform

This is the whole official card in one table. We have kept HoYoverse’s wording where it matters.

Spec PC (Windows) Android iOS (iPhone and iPad)
Processor Intel Core i5-11400F / AMD Ryzen 5 3600X or above Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 / Kirin 9020 / Dimensity 9000+ / Exynos 2400 / Tensor G4, or equivalent or better iPhone 12 Pro series, 13 Pro series, 14 series and all later; iPad with M1 or newer, and iPad mini 7
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 / AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT or above Integrated in the chipset Integrated in the chip
RAM 12 GB 6 GB or more 6 GB
Operating system Windows 10 64-bit or above Android 6.0 or above iOS 15.0 or above
Storage 35 GB 15 GB 15 GB

If you only need a yes or no, compare your device against the column that matches it. If your hardware sits right on the line, or you are not sure what chip you have, the sections below explain how to check.

Key takeaways

  • One tier only. The card is titled “Device Recommendations”. There is no separate minimum and recommended split, so treat these as the level HoYoverse expects for a good experience.
  • PC is the heaviest platform: a six core CPU from 2019 to 2021, an RTX 2060 class GPU, 12 GB of RAM and 35 GB of disk.
  • Android is picky about the chip, not the OS. Android 6.0 is the floor, but the chipset list is all 2022 or later flagship silicon.
  • iPhone support starts at the iPhone 12 Pro. The regular iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 are not on the list. Every iPhone 14 is.
  • iPad needs an M1 or newer, or the iPad mini 7.
  • Mobile needs 15 GB, PC needs 35 GB. Some sites mix these up.
  • No macOS or console version has been announced. See our platforms guide for the full picture.

Honkai: Nexus Anima PC requirements

Here is the PC column of the official card on its own.

Component Official recommendation
CPU Intel Core i5-11400F / AMD Ryzen 5 3600X or above
GPU NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 / AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT or above
RAM 12 GB
Operating system Windows 10 64-bit or above
Storage 35 GB

The CPU: a six core, twelve thread baseline

Both named processors are six core, twelve thread desktop chips. The Ryzen 5 3600X is a 2019 part and the i5-11400F is a 2021 part. In practice that means most gaming desktops built in the last five or six years clear the bar, as long as they have a real six core chip.

The “F” in i5-11400F only means the chip has no integrated graphics. It does not change performance. If you have a regular i5-11400, or any newer Core i5 or Ryzen 5, you are at or above the recommendation.

Older quad core chips are the ones to worry about. HoYoverse has not said the game refuses to run on them, but they sit below the only tier the card gives.

The GPU: what RTX 2060 class means in practice

The RTX 2060 and RX 5600 XT are mid range cards from 2019 and 2020, both with 6 GB of video memory. This is the line that matters most for most PC players, because graphics cards age faster than processors.

As general GPU tier knowledge (our guidance, not HoYoverse’s), cards such as the RTX 3060, RTX 4060, RX 6600 and anything faster are at or above the RTX 2060 level. Older cards like the GTX 1060, GTX 1650 and RX 580 are below it. HoYoverse has not published a list of comparable cards, so if yours is borderline, expect to lower settings rather than run everything on high.

RAM and Windows version

The card asks for 12 GB of RAM. That is an unusual number for a PC spec, and in practice most desktops come with 8 GB or 16 GB. If you have 8 GB, you are under the recommendation. If you have 16 GB, you are comfortably over it.

Windows 10 64-bit or newer is required, which covers Windows 11. There is no 32 bit support on the card.

35 GB of storage, and why to leave room

The PC client needed 35 GB for the Evolution Test. We recommend keeping noticeably more than that free. HoYoverse’s live games have tended to grow as new regions and events arrive, and patches often need temporary space while they unpack. That is precedent from other titles, not a stated Nexus Anima figure. An SSD is not listed as required, but for an open world game it is the sensible choice for load times.

Honkai: Nexus Anima Android requirements

Android is the platform where the most people will be unsure, because phones are sold by name rather than by chip.

Spec Official recommendation
Processor Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 / Kirin 9020 / Dimensity 9000+ / Samsung Exynos 2400 / Google Tensor G4, or processors with equivalent or better performance
Operating system Android 6.0 or above
RAM 6 GB or more
Storage 15 GB

What the chipset list tells you

Every chip on that list is flagship silicon from 2022 onward. Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Dimensity 9000+ are 2022 chips; Exynos 2400 and Tensor G4 are 2024 chips. In our reading, that means a recent high end phone, not a budget or midrange model from the same year.

“Equivalent or better” is doing a lot of work here. Newer Snapdragon 8 series chips (8 Gen 2, 8 Gen 3 and later) are clearly better. Midrange chips such as the Snapdragon 7 series are a harder call. HoYoverse has not listed them, so we would not assume they are covered.

How to find your phone’s chipset

Android does not always show the chip name in settings. Here are the quickest ways to check:

  1. Open Settings > About phone. Some brands list the processor here, often under “Hardware” or “Specifications”.
  2. If it is not shown, search your exact model name plus “chipset” on the manufacturer’s site.
  3. A free hardware info app, such as CPU-Z, shows the chipset and RAM on the first screen.

Check the exact model. Some phones ship with different chips in different regions, and that can put one variant on the list and another off it.

Android 6.0 and 6 GB of RAM

Android 6.0 is a very old floor, and it rarely matters. Every phone with a listed chip shipped with a far newer Android version. The chip and the RAM are the real limits.

The 6 GB of RAM line is a minimum (“6 GB or more”). Most flagship phones with a listed chip have at least 8 GB, so if your chip qualifies, your RAM almost certainly does too.

iPhone and iPad requirements for Nexus Anima

Apple devices are simpler, because HoYoverse listed models instead of chips.

Spec Official recommendation
iPhone iPhone 12 Pro series, 13 Pro series, 14 series and all later models
iPad Models with the M1 or newer chip (iPad Pro 5th Gen, iPad Air 5th Gen and later), and iPad mini 7
Operating system iOS 15.0 or above
RAM 6 GB
Storage 15 GB

Which iPhones are in and out

The list covers the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max, the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max, the whole iPhone 14 series and every model after it. The regular iPhone 12, 12 mini, iPhone 13 and 13 mini are not on the list, and neither are older models.

The card also says 6 GB of RAM, and that likely explains the split. As general Apple hardware knowledge, the 12 Pro and 13 Pro models have 6 GB while the standard 12 and 13 have 4 GB. That is our reading of the list, not something HoYoverse stated.

Which iPads are in

On iPad, the rule is an M1 chip or newer. That means the iPad Pro 5th generation and later, the iPad Air 5th generation and later, and any newer M series iPad. The iPad mini 7 is named separately, because it uses an A series chip rather than an M chip. Standard iPads and older iPad minis are not listed.

How to check your model

Go to Settings > General > About. The model name and the iOS version are both shown there. You need iOS 15.0 or newer, which every listed device supports.

Storage and download size

Storage is the spec other sites most often get wrong, so here it is plainly.

Platform Storage on the official card
PC 35 GB
Android 15 GB
iOS 15 GB

The 15 GB figure is for mobile only. The PC client needs more than twice that, which is normal for HoYoverse games, since the PC build usually carries higher resolution assets.

HoYoverse has not published a launch download size. The beta figures are for a test build that was wiped at the end, and a launch build could be larger or smaller. Our advice is to keep extra space free on top of the card figures, especially on a phone that is already close to full. HoYoverse’s live games have grown with updates over time, so the space you need on day one is unlikely to be the space you need a year later.

In-game shots from the Evolution Test preview. The town of Iia is a full 3D open area, which is why the chip requirements sit at flagship level.

Most PC games publish two columns: minimum and recommended. Nexus Anima’s card has one, and it is titled “Device Recommendations”.

That wording matters. It suggests these are the specs HoYoverse expects for a good experience in the test, not the absolute floor where the game refuses to launch. Some sites present these numbers as “minimum requirements”, and others invent a separate recommended tier. Neither split appears on the official card.

What that means for you:

  • At or above every line: you are in the supported range for the beta build.
  • Slightly below on one line (an older GPU, 8 GB of RAM): the game may still run, but HoYoverse has not said so. Expect to lower settings.
  • Well below on the chip (an older quad core PC, a midrange phone): we would not count on it.

A separate minimum spec may appear closer to launch. HoYoverse has not said whether it will publish one.

Why other sites list different specs

If you have searched for these requirements, you have probably seen numbers that do not match this page. Some sites list figures that differ from the official card in three specific ways.

What some sites say What the official card says
Intel Core i5-11300F Intel Core i5-11400F
16 GB of RAM on PC 12 GB of RAM on PC
15 GB of storage on PC 35 GB on PC (15 GB is the mobile figure)

The i5-11300F mix up is easy to make, but the card says i5-11400F. The 16 GB figure looks like rounding up to a common PC memory size. The 15 GB PC storage figure appears to come from reading the mobile column by mistake.

When numbers disagree, go back to the source. The official card is shown above, and HoYoverse’s official site is where any updated specs will appear first. We will update this page if HoYoverse publishes launch requirements.

Will the launch requirements change?

HoYoverse has not said. The honest answer is that nobody outside the studio knows yet.

Here is what we do know. The Evolution Test was the second closed beta, after the Nexus Bond Test in September 2025. It was never labelled the final test, and as of today there is no release date, no store listing on Steam, the App Store or Google Play, and no third test announced. You can follow timing on our release date hub and the next beta test tracker.

Test builds are not final builds. Optimisation work, new content and platform changes can all move the numbers in either direction between a beta and launch. Until HoYoverse publishes a launch spec sheet, the Evolution Test card is the best evidence available, and it is the one we would plan an upgrade around.

Laptops, Macs and emulators

Gaming laptops

The card does not mention laptops, so apply the same parts. A laptop RTX 2060 or better is the equivalent line. Laptop GPUs usually run slower than their desktop namesakes, so a laptop right at the RTX 2060 level is the case where we would expect to lower settings. That is general hardware guidance, not a HoYoverse statement.

Mac

There is no macOS client announced. The confirmed platforms are Windows PC, iOS and Android. If you are an Apple user, an M1 or newer iPad is the closest official option. Running the Windows client on a Mac through other software is not supported by anything HoYoverse has said, and we would not rely on it.

Android emulators on PC

You do not need one. Nexus Anima has a native Windows client, and it is the platform with the highest official spec. Running the mobile version through an emulator adds overhead and is not something HoYoverse has endorsed. During the Evolution Test, progress also synced across PC, iOS and Android on one HoYoverse account, so if you want both, install both. Launch cross save is expected from HoYoverse precedent but is not confirmed yet.

Bottom line

If your PC has a six core CPU, an RTX 2060 or RX 5600 XT class GPU, 12 GB of RAM and 35 GB free, you are covered by everything HoYoverse has published. On Android you need a 2022 or later flagship chip with 6 GB of RAM; on Apple you need an iPhone 12 Pro, any iPhone 14 or newer, an M1 iPad or the iPad mini 7.

If you are below the line, do not upgrade yet. There is no release date, and launch specs may differ from the beta card. Pre-register instead (our pre-registration guide covers how), and check the Evolution Test FAQ for how the last beta worked.

While you wait, get familiar with the game itself. Browse the Anima dex and the Eidos database, see which creatures stood out in the beta on the tier list, and try out formations in the team builder.
