Honkai: Nexus Anima Battle Pass: Guild Boost Explained
Guild Boost is the Honkai: Nexus Anima battle pass: 70 levels, a 10,000 EXP weekly cap, two paid tiers at 750 and 1,410 Mintent, and Respect for 5-star Anima.
Honkai: Nexus Anima’s battle pass is called Guild Boost: a 70-level track with a free row (Journey Perks) and a paid row (Networking), levelled by Guild Tasks under a 10,000 EXP weekly cap. The two paid tiers cost 750 and 1,410 Mintent, and both pay out Respect, which buys 5-star Anima.
Everything on this page comes from a test build of the game. Its own watermark reads “This version is a test build and does not represent the final product.” The Evolution Test had no purchases at all, so none of these prices has ever taken real money.
Key takeaways
- Guild Boost is the battle pass. Free row Journey Perks, paid row Networking, 1,000 EXP a level, level 70 at the top of the Purchase Levels slider.
- 10 levels a week from Weekly Tasks, at most. Weekly EXP is capped at 10,000, and it resets every Monday at 04:00 server time. Period Tasks add more on top.
- Two paid tiers: Association’s Approval at 750 Mintent and Syndicate’s Friend at 1,410 Mintent, which adds 10 instant levels and more up-front rewards.
- Respect buys 5-star Anima. Good Company Goods priced Cumulon and Hoppelon at 20 Respect each.
- Levels can be bought for 150 Aspect Gems each in the test build.
- There are two more paid passes. Special Boost (Journey to Joy, 1,080 Mintent) and the Joyful Certificate monthly card (300 Mintent plus 90 Aspect Gems a day).
Test-build caveat. Prices, level counts and rewards on this page are what the test build showed. HoYoverse has not announced monetisation for launch, and any of it can change. Nothing here is a recommendation to spend money on a game that has not released.
What Guild Boost is and how the track works
Guild Boost opens as a long horizontal strip of level cards. Each card has two reward rows. The top row, Journey Perks, is free and fills in as you level. The bottom row, Networking, shows a padlock on every reward until you buy a paid tier. That is the same shape as the battle pass in Genshin Impact or Honkai: Star Rail, so if you have played either you already know how to read it.
The progress bar at the top shows 0/1000, so every level costs 1,000 Guild Boost EXP. Next to it sits Weekly EXP: 0/10000, the cap on what Weekly Tasks can give you in one week. Every tenth level is a highlighted milestone card. On the right, a preview panel cycles through the Anima you can trade Respect for.

Cumulon on the Respect preview.
How long a Guild Boost period lasts
Guild Boost runs in periods. The task panel calls the current one “This BP Period”, which confirms what the screen already looks like. The test build’s countdown read 3,736 days, which is a placeholder rather than a real season length.
The rules text dates one period to end on 31 October 2026 at 03:59:59 server time. Purchases of Association’s Approval, Syndicate’s Friend and Networking close an hour earlier, at 02:59:59. “After purchases close, you can still complete tasks and claim rewards.” Treat that date as a test-build string, not a launch schedule.
When a period ends, any level rewards you earned but did not claim arrive in your in-game mailbox. You do not lose them for forgetting to tap Claim.
Guild Tasks: Weekly Tasks and Period Tasks
Guild Boost EXP comes from Guild Tasks, split into two tabs.
- Weekly Tasks reset every Monday at 04:00 server time. They count toward the 10,000 weekly EXP cap. “After reaching the limit, you cannot earn more Experience from Weekly Tasks that week.”
- Period Tasks last for the whole period. The rules do not put them under the weekly cap.
Once you reach the level cap, Guild Tasks stop giving Guild Boost EXP. The test build showed these Weekly Tasks:
| Weekly Task | Guild Boost EXP |
|---|---|
| Complete the Path of Legends challenge once | 750 |
| Complete 3 battles in the Nexus Arena | 675 |
| Feed Nexittles to any Anima 5 times | 675 |
| Spend a total of 100 Spirit | not shown |
Weekly Guild Tasks in the test build. Each pays a few hundred EXP toward the 10,000 weekly cap.
The tasks point at systems the game wants you in every week. Path of Legends is the roguelike auto-battler mode, the Nexus Arena is the ranked mode covered in our PvP or PvE guide, and Spirit is the stamina you spend on Material Stages. A player already doing their dailies will clear most of these without trying.
How fast you level without paying
At 10 levels a week from Weekly Tasks, reaching level 70 takes about seven weeks from Weekly Tasks alone. Period Tasks shorten that. The test build did not show the Guild Boost Period Tasks or their EXP, so we cannot say by how much.
That number is the useful one. If a launch period is shorter than about seven weeks, a free player who misses a week may not finish the track, and the paid level skips become more tempting. If it is longer, a steady player will hit the cap with time to spare.
The paid tiers: Association’s Approval vs Syndicate’s Friend
Tapping Start Networking opens the two paid tiers side by side. Both unlock the Networking row for the current period. The refund lines in the rules give their prices: “a refund of Mintent ×750 or 1,410, corresponding to the purchase price.”
| Association’s Approval | Syndicate’s Friend | |
|---|---|---|
| Price (rules text) | 750 Mintent | 1,410 Mintent |
| Unlocks the Networking row | Yes | Yes |
| Instant levels | None | +10 levels |
| Aspect Gems on purchase | 680 | 880 (680 + 200) |
| Respect | 10, from the track | 10 on purchase, 10 more from the track |
| Other instant items | None shown | Two profile items, 5 consumables |
| Aspect Gems across the track | 640 | 640 |
The two paid tiers. Syndicate’s Friend reads “Instantly raise Guild Boost by 10 levels.”
Which tier is better value
Count in Aspect Gems and Respect, since those are what the screens show. Association’s Approval returns 1,320 Aspect Gems over a full track (680 up front, 640 from levels) and 10 Respect. Syndicate’s Friend returns 1,520 Aspect Gems and 20 Respect, plus 10 levels you would otherwise spend a week earning.
The Respect line is what separates them. A 5-star Anima at Good Company Goods cost 20 Respect in the test build. On the screens we have, Syndicate’s Friend reaches 20 in one period and Association’s Approval reaches 10. Whether Respect carries over between periods is not stated, so we cannot say whether two cheaper passes add up to the same Anima.
You can also upgrade mid-period. The game asks “Upgrade Guild Boost to Syndicate’s Friend for this period?”, so starting on the cheaper tier does not lock you out. The upgrade price is not shown.
The rules list a third purchase, Networking, with a refund of 860 Mintent. The paid reward row carries the same name, but the rules do not say how that purchase differs from the two tiers. We will update this once a build shows it on its own.
Respect and Good Company Goods: the 5-star Anima exchange
Respect is the currency that makes Guild Boost more than a bundle of materials. The game describes the loop plainly: “Complete Guild Tasks and raise your Guild Boost level to earn Respect, which can be exchanged for 5-star Anima at Good Company Goods.”
In the test build the exchange showed two Anima, each priced at 20 Respect:
The preview panel cycled through three cards, so there was at least one more option we did not capture. Good Company Goods also appears among the shop tabs in our gacha guide, where it is listed as “paid in Respect from Guild Boost”.
A guaranteed 5-star Anima of your choice is worth more than its gem count suggests. It skips the gacha entirely, so it does not interact with pity. Pick the one that fills a gap in your Aspect synergy: Cumulon if you are building Pride, Hoppelon if you run a Competition team with Hua or Lou F. Y.
Purchase Levels: buying your way up the track
The Purchase Levels button sells levels directly. A slider picks how many, and the dialog shows exactly which rewards you will collect.
In the test build, moving the slider to its maximum of 69 levels read “After purchase, you will reach Lv. 70” and cost 10,350 Aspect Gems. That is 150 Aspect Gems a level. It is also how we know the track stops at 70.
Purchase Levels at full stretch: 69 levels, level 70, 10,350 Aspect Gems.
Buying levels is rarely worth it early in a period, because Weekly Tasks will get you there for free. It makes sense in the last few days, when you are one or two levels short of a milestone card or the Respect payout, and the period is about to close.
Note that level purchases are paid in Aspect Gems, the premium currency you also spend on pulls. Every level you buy is gems you are not spending on a banner.
Special Boost: the second pass and the Umpurrella Hat
Special Boost lives in the Store, next to the Joyful Certificate, and works like a smaller, separate pass. It has its own levels (300 EXP each in the test build), its own Weekly Tasks and Period Tasks, and a paid unlock button labelled Begin the Journey to Joy.
The rules list Journey to Joy at 1,080 Mintent, refunded at that price if a duplicate purchase goes through. The paid track also gives 680 Aspect Gems the moment you unlock it, and its headline reward is the Umpurrella Hat, flagged “Free on Unlock!”. It is a wearable piece for your main character, shown on the appearance screen.
Special Boost tasks lean toward progression rather than combat:
| Special Boost task | Type | EXP |
|---|---|---|
| Comprehend Eidognosis once | Weekly | 300 |
| Level up an Eidos once | Weekly | 225 |
| Ascend an Anima once | Weekly | 225 |
| Complete 3 days of Daily Activity | Weekly | 400 |
| Level up 6 Anima to Lv. 50 | Period | 1,000 |
| Level up 2 Eidos to Lv. 50 | Period | 1,000 |
| Unlock 3 Habitats | Period | 800 |
| Earn a total of 6 stars in Ancient Riddles | Period | 1,000 |
Special Boost in the Store. The Umpurrella Hat comes with the paid unlock.
Those Period Tasks double as a checklist for a new account: levelling Anima and Eidos, unlocking Habitats and clearing Ancient Riddles, which is also where you claim Gloria. The rules also name a purchase called Joyful Iia’s Companions that “unlocks more rewards”; its price is not listed.
The Joyful Certificate monthly card
The cheapest recurring purchase is the Joyful Certificate, the monthly card. Per its rules, each purchase gives 300 Mintent immediately and 90 Aspect Gems for every day you log in and claim, for 30 days, which is up to 2,700 Aspect Gems. Missed days are not refunded, and you can only extend it while fewer than 179 days remain.
The Joyful Certificate: 300 Mintent up front, then 90 Aspect Gems a day.
Its real price is not in the text we have. The rules mention a refund of 330 Mintent for an exceptional duplicate purchase, which suggests the card is priced at the bottom of the Mintent ladder, but that is our reading, not a listed price. Our gacha guide covers Mintent, Aspect Gems and the pull tickets in detail.
Is the Nexus Anima battle pass worth it?
On the test-build numbers, the order for a light spender is the same as in most HoYoverse games:
- Joyful Certificate first, if you log in nearly every day. It is the only purchase whose value comes almost entirely in Aspect Gems.
- Syndicate’s Friend over Association’s Approval if you want the 5-star Anima. It is the tier that reaches 20 Respect in one period on the screens we have.
- Association’s Approval if you only want the gems and materials, and do not care about the Respect exchange.
- Special Boost last. It is mostly a cosmetic (the Umpurrella Hat) plus 680 Aspect Gems.
Three things could change that order at launch: the real-money price of each tier, whether Respect carries over between periods, and how long a period lasts. We will rewrite this section once HoYoverse publishes them. If you are deciding where gems go in the meantime, our tier list and team builder will tell you whether Cumulon or Hoppelon fits your board before you spend Respect on either.
Bottom line
Guild Boost is a familiar battle pass: 70 levels, 10 levels a week from Weekly Tasks, and two paid tiers at 750 and 1,410 Mintent. The one thing it does that most passes do not is pay out Respect for a 5-star Anima of your choice, and in the test build only the more expensive tier earned enough Respect in one period to buy one.
Until launch prices exist, play the free row and do your Weekly Tasks. When the game releases, check the period length and the Respect rules first, then decide. For the rest of the economy, read the gacha guide, and keep an eye on the release date tracker for when any of this goes live.
Frequently asked questions
- Does Honkai: Nexus Anima have a battle pass?
- Yes. The battle pass is called Guild Boost. It has a free row called Journey Perks and a paid row called Networking, levels up from Weekly and Period Guild Tasks, and runs in timed periods. It was seen in a test build, so prices and rewards can still change before launch.
- How much does the Honkai: Nexus Anima battle pass cost?
- The game rules list the two paid tiers at 750 Mintent for Association's Approval and 1,410 Mintent for Syndicate's Friend. A separate Networking purchase is listed at 860 Mintent. Real-money prices depend on your region and store and have not been published.
- How many levels does Guild Boost have?
- The Purchase Levels screen in the test build tops out at level 70. Each level takes 1,000 Guild Boost EXP, and Weekly Tasks can award at most 10,000 EXP a week, which is 10 levels.
- Can you buy battle pass levels in Honkai: Nexus Anima?
- Yes. Purchase Levels sells levels for Aspect Gems. In the test build, buying 69 levels to go from level 1 to level 70 cost 10,350 Aspect Gems, which works out to 150 Aspect Gems a level.
- What is Respect in Honkai: Nexus Anima?
- Respect is the currency that comes with the paid Guild Boost tiers. You spend it at Good Company Goods, where the test build offered 5-star Anima such as Cumulon and Hoppelon for 20 Respect each.
- What is the difference between Guild Boost and Special Boost?
- Guild Boost is the main battle pass, with Respect and a 5-star Anima exchange. Special Boost is a second, smaller pass in the Store with its own Weekly and Period Tasks. Its paid track, Journey to Joy, is listed at 1,080 Mintent and comes with the Umpurrella Hat outfit piece.
